Stray ™ Cask Rye

Our 95% rye recipe is a rare find. Every bottle pours from a single barrel. Distinct flavor differences appear barrel by barrel. The first barrels used 30-gallon Barrel Mill #3 char. Now we have barrels as old as eleven years. Expect a slight herbal note on the nose with leather and butterscotch.

The mouthfeel is buttery, coating the tongue. Starts spicy with a minty burn, then transfers to cherry and dark brown sugar. This rye whiskey activates salivary glands more than most. A limited edition rye whiskey is worth chasing.

Aged rye whiskey with character. The mash: Corn, rye malted barley whiskey at 95% rye. Two versions available: 88 proof and Cask Strength. Both bottled straight from the barrel. Expect sediment and char. That is flavor.

Our 21% rye recipe is a popular bill. Connoisseurs find it exciting, especially with extra aging. Every bottle pours from a single barrel. First barrels used: 30-gallon Barrel Mill #3 char and 53-gallon Kelvin Cooperage #4 char.

Now we have barrels as old as nine years. Nose: vanilla, caramel, dried fruit, cream, light rye spice. Palate: caramel, vanilla, fruit, candied notes, gentle spice. The value is unmatched. This is premium bourbon whiskey for people who actually drink it.
